DNR Boating Safety Classes in La Valle will be offered during the 2010 Summer Boating Season!!!

Each class consists of a required two day-four hour session.

First sessions of classes are Tuesday, June 22 and Thursday, June 24, 2010.

Second session is Tuesday, July 27 and Thursday, July 29, 2010.

All classes will be held at the La Valle Town Hall.

Time: 5 P.M. to 9 P.M. both days of class.

Registration is mandatory. Class size is limited.

New Requirement:

A DNR ID Number is required before you take the class. You need to call the DNR at 1-888-936-7463 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. and have yoru social security number ready. You also need to provide personal information of height, weight, color of eyes, and color of hair.

Boater education certification is required by law for anyone born on or after 01/01/89 in order to operate a motorboat on Wisconsin's waterways.

It is your responsibility to KNOW the LAWS.

Renew and refresh your boating safety knowledge.

Take a class with your children or grandchildren and learn together.

Everyone is welcome!
